In Tokyo, streets have no name. Where they intersect, they become “Anonymous Crossroads”. Left? Right? Straight ahead? The tourist gets lost. Seeking help is not easy: language is a barrier; and Tokyoites rarely manage to locate their position on a map. My series reflects this experience: making my way through these “Anonymous Crossroads”. .
